This is why people rock purple bikes.... They are probably trying to recreate the original a$$ kicker.....

I had the Maroon and red one that was the 500 cc and it was a hand full. This one is insane. They spent most of their time on the rear wheel. Bad a$$ bikes in their day. So was the Bridgestone 350 and the X6 Suzuki.

I have a source working on this but for some reason they have put me on hold for six months now.  So... Ill prolly start on it myself...alteady know what I want.  Prolly get a machinist locally to help me.

Where I think folks come into problems on this is its not hard opening up the primary.... its finding a new location with the electrical components behind the cover.  I know Jeff Palhegyi did this on one of his Raiders, though I don't know where he placed it.  Course on the Road Stars its easy....there's nothing behind there.  Maybe Brent has done more with this.  last I chatted with him, hes been busy with the new addition to the family and hasn't had time.  My source still tells me that hes working on it.  We shall see.

Old thread but curious where the rectifier was relocated to?

So on the Warrior, there are three common places to relocate the rectifier:

1) in a chin scoop. I did that on mine.

2) mount it on the right side and actually display it. You can polish the fins and it looks pretty cool.

3) under the bike. You run a strip of metal from one side of the frame and bolt it to the top of the metal strip. There is room up under there between the frame rails.

All three have been proven to last over the years.

There’s a 4th: under the tank on a plate. Kinda like a coil relocation plate.
