I think I used a Toyota blank to use as an insert for my warning when I had the rotor locks on back when I still used a key.

I got mine at the local locksmith...even says Yamaha on it.  Had one edge cut for the ignition and one for the quick-release windshield so I only carry one key now.

I did the same - the rounded side of the top was ignition and the other way was windshield.

I asked the Yammie guys about the OEM keys a while back.  Expected them to be somewhat pricey, but  @%%$#, they ought to be gold plated for $45+  :wtf:  Had extra plain flat keys made for $8 to back up my original "fancy" Yamaha keys just in case one gets lost.   O8O

There's no substitute for cubic inches and a good engine management system!   Hmmm, well maybe a blower, NOS or turbo....

Go to ACE Hardware store, some carry a blank labled YH63, fits great for my 2014 Raider and is dead cheap!
For whatever reason not every ACE store carry these blanks.

Just buy two blank keys from Ebay and take to a local locksmith. It cost me $9 a week ago total
I will do the same and get blanks from Ebay and then ask a locksmith to cut and program it for me.

Well if you are dead set on a Yamaha key with the plastic top that says Yamaha and don't wanna spend $45.....well have no fear as China make a copy for a fraction of the price......

The Raider does not have an electronic security system.  There is no programming to do, just cut the cheys  :)

I met an emergency locksmith who has helped me in doing key replacement but now i am having issues with the door keys, can anyone here help me with it?

'Sup, captain spammer? Welcome back! I would advise you keep using that door key on your raider. I'm sure you'll get it open eventually.

I banned and deleted the user this morning, but forgot to delete his posts.

I was thinking the same thing about a door on his Raider. Dumb ass!
