Ace's Raider

Ace
Was just wondering, are you going to purchase a new RAIDER this year?
I dig your Yamaha Warrior but a new Raider would look good sitting next to the Warrior in your garage.

    You guys crack me up...

I would love to pick up a Raider as my second bike, but its not in the cards right now.  I am looking at buying a new house and starting a family sometime this year so I am trying to save up some money at the moment.

I go back and forth between selling the Warrior to get the raider, or just continuing to mod it instead....custom paint, wide tire kit and raked out trees would hold me over for a while...   ;D

What do you guys think I should do?

      Ace...
I think that you're about to try to start a new life (House, family...), and I think that new life calls for a fresh and blank canvas from which to start... that blank canvas could very easily be a brand new '09 raider in your garage. I'm just saying, fresh starts all around could be a very refreshing thing! Think about it...

I told my wife last night that "the guys" are bugging me to get a new Raider and I said if we get a new house I might have to get a new bike....she didn't seem to be opposed to the idea!!

I'd get the Raven just like yours.  I talked to my wife about it more today and she definitely seems OK with the idea of me getting one, once we get the new house and get settled in.

      Time will tell...

In the meantime, I will continue to hang out here and grow the forum so when I do get one I will have all my mods planned out!!

Ace you need a Raider to run a Raider Forum. Go for it you won't regret it. I am a former Warrior owner and the circumstances forced me to do something and I decided it would be a Raider. I loved my Warrior, but the Raider is a step forward.
