She sold today, kinda sad
« on: Apr 23, 2020, 04:12:59 pm »
Sold my girl today...didn't hit me till I watched her ride off. I have zero complaints about my Raider, never did anything but run great. When I bought her in the winter of 2010 she was the cats ass. With Yamaha's wisdom of never really updating or offering many performance mods...even Harley caught and passed her a couple years back.
The wife liked her more than the new Street Glide hands down...truth be told...I'd give her the edge in many ways too. I paid 8k otd almost 10 years ago, and with nothing (unless you call Ivans flash)done performance wise, only cosmetic...Ö I sold her for 6400.00$   The best 1600.00$ I ever spent!!!
Ill still be lurking...and to the chagrin of some I might just show up at a rally with the HD.
Stay safe!!!

Yet you found a way to hitch two huge bags to the sides of your Raider.

Yep for over night rides. That's why they are on quick disconnect brackets. And when I get to the hotel.....they come off and are used as luggage. And if I am riding anywhere that doesn't require me to stay overnight and need extra clothes then my huge bags are at my house. But to each his own. The reason those huge bags don't stay on my bike all the time is because baggers are not my style. I don't like the windshield or bag look but when I actually need to bring extra clothes the bags are kinda needed.
