I got tired of the chrome and the bling on my last Raider so I went desert storm on this one.

My plan was and still is to paint a black/gray American flag draped across the tins.

Maybe this winter!

If you do that, you should have it clear coated in a matte finish.  It would really add to the "desert storm" look.

Man that’s gonna look sweet bro....you could prolly have a vinyl shop do it and it’d look as good as paint and you’d be able to remove it if you wanted a change !
Lean till it grinds , then lean some more ..

      Thanks for the compliments guys!

And as far as the Kaw comment, I believe they came out with something similar to mine 1 -2 years after I did mine.  So did Harley.  Bastages!

Kawasaki Green has been Kawasaki's preferred racing color for almost 4 decades...

It's like KTM orange ir Ducati red ir Yamaha's dark blue

the Kawa Green and KTM Orange really define the brand

Mine was red and grey to match my Challenger RT Classic I had at the time

The paint was the same, but there are a lot more flat parts on my Challenger than my bike, so the colors look slightly different...

Agreed.  I thought he was referring to the new metallic green/black on their street rides.  You're speaking my MX/Offroad language now.

Just sold my "Blue" Yamaha a couple of weeks ago.

Nothing I have stays stock for very long....

We would be best friends - my truck is "Slimer Green" :)

With the addition of the Low and Mean rear fender, I'm going to have to come up with something custom. There is a lot more surface on that fender than the stocker and straight color may be a little much. I will have to keep looking. Thank you all for your input and if you spot something, post it up!

Can you share any info on that sweet headlight bucket?

      Looks like a VTX unit?
      Google "roadstarraider.com vtx headlight"
I never have much luck with forum searches so I always just use google and add the forum name to the google search. That's a little tip from your uncle Don. :)

It's actually a Victory headlight.  There's a few threads on here about it.
