I'm unsure if I've seen a fender cut like that, so I can't say if it looks high or not.  But you may want to lower your preload on your spring to see how much that will lower it without compromising your ride.

Have you considered doing any LED strips for signals/brake lights like what is on Low & Mean's website, but follows the curve better.   You could probably find something really cool at Custom Dynamics.

The indicators are combined brake and tail lights. Kellermann Bullet 1000 from Germany. Bit pricey but very trick.

Sitting with 5” gap right now.

The standard dog bones between the two holes centrally are 31cm exactly.

The lowered ones we used was only around 13mm longer than standard which dropped the bike around 35mm.

If you want to drop it more you will need longer dog bones still, however you will need to see whats available first and make a judgement from there.

Also, look at your bike first because it is sitting high and there maybe a reason for that already.

Checked it over and all seems okay. Preload is set to 171 which according to the manual is max length and as soft as you can go. Here’s a before picture, tail piece seems to be normal.

      Kev,

Can you please measure the gap on your standard raider. Mine is 130mm from top of tyre to fender between the the rear seat pad bolts.

Measured my dog bones and they are the standard length of 31cm. I'm guessing this tyre gap that I have is standard, you just can't see it on other bikes with a full fender. Totally agree that the bike needs lowering. Other than getting longer dog bones, is there anything else needed to lower the ride height?

I just sent you a PM, but in case you don't see it...

Sorry, I can't ship internationally. Two bad experiences and I won't do it again.

PCS offers International Shipping though. https://www.pacificcoaststar.com/pcs/raider-lowering-kit.htm Just look for the link INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING at the bottom of the page.

In the end I decided to buy a set of adjustable dog bones in case I need some adjustment when riding two up.

Will take a while to come from the States but will post some more photos with it lowered.
