Well, it's been a long time coming, but I finally got my painted parts on the bike. I got a little delayed as I had some housing projects and I bought a Triumph that I've been working on. Anyways, here she is...

The 'pinstripping' is just decals. But I've had good luck with them lasting a few years... till I get board. Special thanks to Sgt. Fury for suggesting cream colored pinstripping - I never would have thought about that till you posted... thanks! I have one more to put on the back fender but I think I'm going to hold off for a bit and see how I feel about her.

Looking good to me.  I like the 2 tone color scheme.

      Thanks, guys!
The 'brown' color is 'oil rubbed bronze'. It only looks brown in direct sunlight, but boy is in brown in sunlight! I wasn't liking it at first but now it's kinda grown on me. I'm thinking about getting my seat covered close to the SCL seat... a dark brown top to it. I think that would tie it all together pretty nice.

I like the color, not sure about the brown for the side piece but not my bike.
Good job on the paint job!

That orange is definitely eye-catching.  Gotta go with Dreadly on the brown, but I'm not crazy over brown.

      Love the orange!
Just my opinion, you know everyone has one, but I think if a lower portion of the other tins had the brown on them, that would pull it together better....at least for me.  I was thinking of painting my side panels black, but changed my mind.
Great job on making it "your own" though!!!   :congrats:

      Thanks, guys.
I'm not sure where I'll go with the brown. Either I embrace the brown and get the seat redone to more closely match the brown (and I like Ron's idea of painting the lower portions of the tins brown as well), or I'll give up on the brown and paint them black.

Maybe I'll plastidip them black just to see how I feel about it.

Either path will have to wait a bit. I'm trying to finish up my siding project and I'm redoing a Triumph right now. It's almost done but I have to tune the mechanical fuel injection system (i.e. play with different jets on the carbs) to get it perfect. And I have some more cosmetics to take care of. Anyways, this is where I'm at on that one...

See, I told you the brown has grown on me. :)

Adding brown to the other tins would definitely tie the single brown piece in with the rest of the bike.

I see that Triumph being a military green color for some reason.
