fuel filter
« on: Jul 08, 2020, 08:13:18 am »
Hello,

My tank was repaired/welded (from the previous owner) and contains some rust inside. So, I want to remove the fuel shut off valves and install a fuel filter in that open space. I also don't use the valves when I remove the tank and consider more useful a fuel filter then the valves.

Why there are two fuel hoses between the main and sub-tank ? The one from the middle of the tank is just for ventilation, so that the fuel can flow freely through the left hose (from the main to the sub-tank) ?

Thanks
Marcel
