Road satr warrior parts compatible with raider?
« on: Aug 16, 2020, 11:43:07 pm »
I have parts a power commander and Rhinehart pipes from an 06 warrior.  Does anyone know if these parts would be compatible with my 09 raider??

But you could get top dollar for those pipes on the Warrior forum.

Got a chance to get a 2004 Warrior for real descent price. My daughter-in-laws parents neighbor past away last night and the wife is looking to unload the bike. I know nothing about it other than the year, it's silver and has dual straight cut pipes. She said it is in immaculate condition but I have no idea until I see it which will probably not be for a couple of weeks until she puts in her name and gets straightened around. Any certain things I should look for on a 04 and are they really worth picking up if probably won't end up keeping it but just flipping it to help her out. KBB is showing $4200 resale, is this realistic or are they like our Raiders and you couldn't get hardly anything for what we have in them? Thanks!

Warriors are another fun bike to ride by yamaha and another they should have never stop making.....like our raiders.  Had the chance to take one out for a spin a couple of years ago and man could that thing get up and go!  If it's in immaculate condition as claimed I think you could easily find someone who will buy it especially if they got rid of that ugly ass OEM exhaust. Who knows, you may actually want to keep it. I think $4200 or more is reasonable depending on condition and mileage

That’s a little high tbh. I’ve seen them dipping into the $2900-3500 range.

NADA retail value is $4165 which is what the bank values the bike. And that's based on no extras.....upgraded exhaust, etc.  I'll bet if a dealership had it they would ask around 5000 for it. How many miles?

Not sure of mileage. Only know year, color and can see aftermarket pipes in picture. I have a pix of the registration which shows model as XVP and body type as RS. This is the only pix I have at this point.

I have a Raider as well as a Warrior.  I am with Leader on this and unfortunately you will most likely get around the 3 range.

Yeah with the KBB being around $4200 and the year I figured it would be in the $3k to $3200 range. That's not knowing anything about it. Guess I'll just wait and see. Still with that, if I flipped it I'd still make over $2k from what I was told she was asking for it. If it does happen and I ended up selling it I'd give her back at least half of what I made on it due to the situation. Still trying to get the Raider fixed back up after getting hit and just ordered Avon's for the 16 VMAX I just got. Still may get 2 hours of riding time now. Too dag gone busy.  :(
