Fuel pump maintenance

I spoke to several manufacturers for a sealant fix.  JB Weld was the only one so far that said it will work submersed in gas and hold the pressure
I tried Chem-Seal too but they were not confident.

it well work for a while but I would not take the chance on the epoxy breaking down and possibly getting into the fuel system  then you really have problems

Have you repaired your Fuel Pump?

How will it get into the fuel system with the fuel filter on the bottom?

Someone else did as well though it seems to element the concern of the degradation of the plastic tube sealants.

I have always wondered if FiberFix would work to repair a cracked pump housing.  When I called them a few years ago they said they hadn’t tested their products resistance to gasoline. 

Has anyone tried this?

I am almost tempted to spend the $20 or so just to get some and immerse it in ethanol fuel for 6 months or so to see how it holds up.
