Looking for this plate mount
« on: Dec 03, 2020, 11:10:26 am »
My Performance EDGE side mount plate drags in turns so I want to replace it with one like on this bike. It looks as if its mounted to the belt guard tab. Anybody know who makes it?

I can't help with your question, but that's a hawt bike that I don't recall seeing before.

      Actually that looks DIY/custom

Have not seen this one either, possibly custom made. I can agree on the Performance Edge side mounts scraping, broke my first one in two pieces but the tag was actually holding it together until I was hit by a Camaro at low speed in the left rear and that was the last straw for the first one. Put another on and it's got scrapes on the outer corner showing. ;D

I've seen 3 side mount locations. On the nut holding the rear axle in, on the side of the swing are bolt that you have to remove the passenger peg I think or that same nut and bolt location, and mounted to the top belt guard. I believe you have to drill a hole in the upper belt guard and put a new nut and bolt through it to mount the license plate holder. When I find them i will post links.
