Has anyone actually ever had a bad fuel pump?  I think it's always been the housing.  I am not sure in my case since I think I was the first to have the fuel pump issue, but I know it was from not building up enough pressure and it took the dealer a while to find the problem. My guess is it was a cracked housing as well.

    To close the topic ...
Diagnosis : cracked fuel pump, bike has about 60.000 km (37.000 miles) :

That's about when it happened on my first Raider. Actually, I think mine may have been a bit sooner.

    I'm getting closer to 60.000 km ... I have to be prepared ... :)

Does anyone know what represents this kit ? it is only the pump itself ?

That kit won't help you. You would be installing a new pump in a cracked housing. I think the housing (which comes complete with the pump) is only available from Yamaha.

    I know, thanks.
The bike is not mine, belongs to a friend of mine, he brought the bike to me as he has no knowledge to fix it.
As I live in Romania, the fuel pump available in Europe is around 1.000 EURO, about 1.200 $ !!!

My life it's an endless fight against maturity.

I modified mine 2 years ago and it's still going strong.

marcelmot give me a few days. I've been working on a "how-to" and I should be done soon.
