Search Help
« on: Mar 19, 2021, 11:39:00 am »
Guys, I need help finding a set of LA Choppers Super Radius T-Bars, either Part# 0601-1086 or 0601-1087.  Doesn't matter which one it is, I just need to find one.  I've looked everywhere and they all say the same thing, not in stock.  Really sucks the amount of aftermarket support for our bikes is next to nothing.  I joke with people all the time when they ask where I found part "XYZ" and I tell them it's made for a Victory or HD, that I had to machine/fabricate/modify either the bike, part or both to make it work.  I feel like I'm riding a Mad Max hodge podge of parts sometimes.....LoL

But seriously, if you find either one post the link on here and I'll buy them ASAP.

I just did a search on the same thing for someone else looking for T-Bars and could not find them either.  This is really sad.  GOOD LUCK!

I know right......I've looked for T-bars from every manufacturer who made them for our bike and ZERO found anywhere. Everything I come across is a "Universal" fit that "May Need" fitting to our bike (which means it was designed for a HD, and you'll have a hell of a time fitting them to your bike)…..LoL
I talked to a guy at Barons and he said the entire industry pretty much stopped making stuff for the Raider in 2011 - 2012, anything I find in stock was most likely made years ago and been sitting on a shelf somewhere.  Yamaha did a nice job making almost everything on our bike a one off sized piece, like our fork tube size as just one example  :o  I'll keep searching, hopefully I'll come across something. If not I'll just buy something and make it work like I always do.

I just tried eBay too and nothing.

Have you considered just going with some little shorty risers and using some bars like this?

One of the former female riders had something similar on her Raider and they looked awesome. It made me consider going that route, but I had just purchased the LA Choppers T-bar.

Not really my style, but they do look good on the bike.  If I have to, I'll just get a universal set of T-bars and make them work.

I found the bars, however they're in the UK and Canada.  Problem is they won't ship to the USA.  I was able to add them to my cart, but at checkout it stated "Cannot ship to this address".  >:(

I'm in the UK if you want me to get them and ship them to you in Virginia?

Have you checked any junkyards for totaled Raiders? Unfortunately if they were in an accident there's a good chance the bars could be tweaked.

That would be awesome if you would do that, here's a link to the website.  Hopefully it's legit....LoL  Let me know what you think, if it's legit or not.

Personally, I've never heard of them. The bars are the correct part number for Drag Specialist and are really great value.
Looking to see where in the UK they are worries me as they do not list any address or phone number.
They only have an e-mail address so I will e-mail them and see if I get a response.
Let's see but they almost seem too good to be true

That's what I was thinking also, price seems too cheap for these bars.

$56 USD is way too cheap.  I can't even imagine that's legit.
