bike creeping forward with clutch engaged
« on: Sep 03, 2021, 11:31:43 am »
I am noticing that the bike will ever so gently creep forward with the clutch engaged while standing still. Would flushing/bleeding the clutch help?

you might try flushing it, replacing fluid... (IF) if it has air or enough water in it to make a difference it might help.. otherwise, the slave has no adjustable push rod, and it might be a sign of being ready for new plates? could technically also be a sign that master cyl or slave cyl has an issue. The master is a cheap rebuild... not sure about slave side...

You can try bleeding the clutch line but I'm thinking it's probably the slave cylinder going bad.

Like the guys have said above , gonna be the master leaking down or the slave . Worth rebuilding master first , then if that doesn’t fix the issue do the slave
Lean till it grinds , then lean some more ..

Is there a rebuild kit available for the clutch master cylinder? I can't seem to find one

I believe the brake and clutch kits are same kit... Someone here might be able to confirm.
