    my pacific coast star forward controls just came in the mail about an hour ago! ;D the brackets look really beefy and strong. however the shift rod is stainless.. im taking it to memphis tommorow to have it chromed along with my belt guard and possibly my hand levers. i'll be posting pics as soon as i get those installed.

      Sounds like a good excuse to buy a custom shift linkage to me!

      got these back today from getting triple plated, my Belt guard and my +3' shift rod for my forward controls. if you knew how cheap this was to have chromed you will know why i didnt buy a diffrent shift linkage lol. gonna install the forwardcontrols and chrome belt guard on my bike 2mrrw finally! even tho its gonna be raining..

      OK, you got me..how cheap was it??? After all, I do have a lot of chroming I need done soon!! (I know, I know, you probably know a guy who knows a guy, or something like that, but still curious, even if it doesn't help me out)

      well yes, but actually my DAD know's the guy who did it lol. but it was $5 for the shift rod. and $20 for the belt guard.
      im bouta go out here to the garage and install this forward control kit and the now chrome belt guard!

      got my forward controls on and the belt guard and they are NICE! cant get a good picture of them in the bike shed and its raining outside.. i'll post up pictures next clear day, they are calling for rain 2mrrw as well.
