Thanks Ted - the Glock sticker was "the key accessory" that cinched the deal...

Finally got her put back together with new bars, etc.   Still need to install Barons lowering kit/spring, add LED accents, and removable s'bags hardware.

Will ride after this Cristobal passes..

Beautiful day with low humidity.  Purged all the brake fluid with new DOT4.  It was a little on the brownish side for being only 2.5 years old.  Usually change it at the two year mark with periodic checks for color and levels.  I'm not a high-mileage rider anymore.  Took my time with just a bottle and a clear plastic tube & 8mm box wrench.  Cheated the purge time a little by lowering the master cylinder fluids (not too low) from above with a turkey baster since I don't have or need fancy shop devices.  I pumped them all until the fluid was very light, clean amber and surprisingly only used about a third to shy of a half pint for the entire job.

Our local Texas Roadhouse just opened for meals outside on picnic tables and umbrellas.   ;D  We're in a metro area, so our "Mr Blackface" Bloomberg-funded governor only let other rural counties open earlier.  Wife is tickled she got in early for a long-overdue haircut!

Later took the beast out for a casual country ride and got blocked coming home by a bunch of young, snowflake protesters in a small town I'd never expect it.  Backhauled thru some more smooth scenic Virginia roads.  Thanks BLM!!    O8O

There's no substitute for cubic inches and a good engine management system!   Hmmm, well maybe a blower, NOS or turbo....
